S: Standing in back of cage hissing and backing away. Lunging and biting.

O: HF about 78g of rat/rabbit. Dropped remaining 5g.

A: Aggressive baby, but took food in cage. Parents are still present, so will reunite this afternoon.

P: Release.

S: Standing in cage. Jumping and squirmy for catch and in hand.

O: Weighed. Checked vitals - all stable, elevated RR in hand. Measured IOP comparisons for study - again, the recorded TonoVet Pro dog setting shows a slight difference in IOPs where all of the other settings recorded do not, so not concerned about eyes. Drew blood from R medial metatarsal vein. Applied yellow color band. Gave fluids. Placed in cage with sibling 25230.
LRS SQ: 58.90 cc (LRS) SQ - L inguinal

A: BAR. Blood thin and watery in appearance and anemic per PCV. Not very concerned as baby is otherwise very healthy, could be due to excess hydration. Mistakenly applied a band color that is already in use, replace if bird is to be combined with outdoor babies where yellow is in use.

P: dc vitals check. dc fluids. rx vit B and iron IM beginning tonight. DR working on trying to locate parents from original found location to reunite. Recheck blood in 5/13 if still in care.

A: BAR. Hand-fed perfectly, even lunging to take food from tweezers.

P: CCP.

A: BAR. NSF on rads - confirming there appears to be little to nothing wrong, except for casting material present in stomach. Casting material confirms parents are still actively feeding them.

Wings: Ventral patagium are bare of feathers, most likely due to age.

Feet: Small orange dots on bottoms of both feet - thought to be nothing.
Body: NSF
Feather condition: In blood
Ectoparasites: Gnat bites on both eyelids
Other: Alleged sibling to 25-230
Radiographic findings: DNE
Initial treatment: Placed in cage with donut.

A: BAR. Alert GHOW brancher with seemingly no obvious injuries other than some scabbing and blood present on eyelids, cere, and lower L mandible. We'll take rads and undergo a further examination to determine the cause for concern on the finder's behalf who reported them limping or struggling to walk.

P: Conduct further exam - take rads, IOPs, etc; determine release status if nothing found. Rx fluids. HF BID in camo. Collect blood, vitals, and fecal. Vet check on 5/12 at the earliest.
